    Thanks for the positive post! It’s easy for us to forget that even though it may take a while to get to “normal,” we really do start feeling better pretty quickly.

    I just wanted to share my excitement at my first blood test four weeks after RAI. My T3 and T4 levels are now within the normal range and, though my TSH is still low, (.09) it’s moving up from my previous <.01 level. I'm definitely feeling different, too - not as on edge and my appetite has changed, too. I'm actually able to say no to food, whereas before I felt like I had to eat at any opportunity because I'd be hungry if I didn't. I've even said no to ice cream because I wasn't hungry - something I can't remember doing for a very long time! I know there’s still a long road to go, but it is very encouraging to see some progress.
