Great! Isn’t it amazing how you appreciate the good days. I remember 3 years ago when i started to feel better after a year of fiddling with meds etc and I could feel like I could do my housework etc,, and feel normal.

Long may it last for you – delighted to hear it <img decoding=” title=”Smile” />

Good morning everyone! For some reason, I woke up this morning feeling really good! The reason I am sharing this is just that we all need to appreciate those days–sometimes they are too far apart. In trying to figure out WHY (so I can duplicate this experience) I don’t really come up with anything. If there were a way to get my TSH tested today I would. Even after all these years, and knowing better, Graves’ still figures into my assessment of my world. I could make a list of the things that are not going well, but there’s no use in that. I think the word I am having a problem grasping is "normal".

All that in mind, I am excusing myself from the board until tomorrow. I have a number of things to get done, and they all stand a chance of getting done, with time to spare.

If nothing else we learn to appreciate a day of feeling good. We appreciate the little things. As tired as I was getting back from training I sat down with a nice cold tea and put my feet up and I was content. It was an AHHHHH moment that does not come enough.

Thanks Nancy….It’s great to hear that your having a good day….and gives Hope to the rest of us that they are a coming eventually!!!!

Does anyone know if there is a book out there that I can read to my 7 year old to explain why mommy might be more tired on some days then others? I have a 21 month old also, so I’m sure it would get used again. I asked at my endo office but they didn’t know.

Hopefully this feeling good will catch on. Yesterday My granddaughter and I played dress up and took pictures. I have not been comfortable in front of a camera for years. We were laughing so hard my ribs hurt. I can’t even remember the last time I had a good laugh. With Graves’ Disease it seems we tend to forget how good it feels to just laugh and take a picture without thinking about it. These are just little things to everybody …..but not to us.

DId I mention this was my 18 year old granddaughter? There is Hope for us yet.
