Hi, I’ve had the opportunity recently to have a coloring book to explain to my 7 year old about my GD. It has been most helpful. The whole time we were reading it she kept on saying "just like you mommy!" I was astounded by the way the author nailed it on the head. There are more materials and books, and support resources there. If they aren’t there yet, they will be shortly. Please check it out. Some of the poems are so spot on, have some kleenex handy. Hopefully the board will allow me to post a link but if not just send me an PM and I’ll send you the link. Thanks Rhonda

I am so glad you and your daughter liked the book. The cartoons really helped my grandkids understand me. The cartoons were of things that I went through or people I know. Kids just need a simple explanation and I could not find one in all the books I looked at.

Thank you for your kind words. If it helped one child I am happy. <img decoding=” title=”Very Happy” />

One of the things that really hit home for me, my husband works 3rd shift at one of the nations retail outlets, and we were in there one evening doing some shopping. One of the cashiers, very nice lady…said.."I thought your wife was sick!"….I wanted to say thank you…that I didn’t look sick..and at the same time I wanted to scream…you have no idea how bad I feel right now. The book helped me to understand also. Thanks again!!!
