    Hello Everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As we begin a new year, we also begin a new chapter in our fight! I want to encourage everyone living with Grave’s and searching for answers. My favorite quote is, " Life’s Not About Learning To Survive the Storm, But Learning To Dance In The Rain."
For me this new month is learning about my disease and how it’s effecting my body. But even more importantly remembering that I was wonderfully made. There are days I leave my home with CRAZY wacked out hair because I’m too tired to do it! There are times my vibrant and energetic three year old writes with crayons on my walls and spills his milk all over my bills on the table. BUT no matter how crazy life can get, RELAX. Soak up every moment. Life is so short and accept your limits and love yourself. That sound cliche but when you’re living with this disease, frustration comes very easily and unwantingly. So when you’re about to EXPLODE, take a step back and remember everyday is a memory. SO this year lets make GREAT memories.

Your attitude will take you far! I have just joined the group and have lots to learn. I was diagnosed with Grave’s Disease almost 10 years ago and it has not slowed me down. My God had other plans for me! I was very sick before I was diagnosed, I just went for my annual check up! The next 12 months were very challenging but since then it was quite uneventful until just recently. I am waiting to hear results from my most recent blood work. Keep remembering that the small things are just that and it does get better again! <img decoding=” title=”Very Happy” />
