    I AM NEW TO GRAVES DISEASE. I WAS TREATED WITH A I131 SWALLOW.. ALL THIS TALK OF DEPRESSION IS SCARING ME. DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN? DOES IT GO AWAY? I CERTAINLY DON’T WANT TO DEAL WITH THAT AS WELL AS EVERYTHING ELSE I AM GOING THRU.

    well hello, and welcome sorry to hear that you got graves
    everybody on this board has it differently graves that is.
    i dont think people are depressed here,you will find that
    this board is a help line to dealing with the disease.

    i’ve been suffing 2 years now with graves i found this
    bb board 3 months ago. With out these beautiful people
    i would most likely have to go to a head doctor. Yes
    where all sick and its not fun. but you will find this place
    a happy home more than some type on a board. and
    loretta try to feel good its christmas is coming.

    Hi Jan

    Depression seems to go along with Graves’ fairly often, and most good doctors know this and will watch for it.

    Did you check the NGDF Home page at the top for a Support Group in your area?
