Sorry to have bailed from the forum recently. Been having a tough time, post-TT. Mostly just feeling down. I think it’s a combination if a lot of things. Right now I’m on a camping vacation with out of state friends. When I get back in a week or so I’ll give a real update of how I’m doing. One thing I’ve found is the Zinka sunblock doesn’t work well covering the scar. So I’m using my Coolibar neck gator, held in place with a shoelace around my neck. Itherwise it sags and the scar is exposed. Not as hot as you’d think, although the temps will get up into the 90’s soon. Anyway, will check in again. Take care, all of you.

Hi Amy – Hope you are feeling better the next time that you check back in. As I recall, you were pretty much being Superwoman not long after TT, so it’s possible you needed some down time to take care of yourself. Perhaps the camping will do the trick! Please keep us posted!

Hi Amy. Good to hear from you and sorry to hear you’ve been down in the dumps. Maybe some fresh air camping will help. If not, get those levels checked girl!! I’m 4 weeks out and feeling OK except for TED stuff and some inconsistencies in energy level. Hope you feel better soon!

    Hi Amy!

I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. Is it possible that you have gone hypo? If you look up symptoms if hypo depression is one of them. Just wondered if maybe you could ask your dr for a blood test if you haven’t had one lately…

When I was hypo I was very lethargic and depressed.

Hope this passes for you quickly.

Amy. I am so sorry. It is a terrible feeling. Have had it.
Gonna be NOT when get back to Seattle.
Find a cool place, watch some SNL, get your labs checked, then you will be “back.” It does sound like a hypo feeling. Although, After all the crap we go through, I think sometimes, when we are supposed to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we really don’t believe it! It’s still shining, just right around that corner!!!
