Hello everyone! I just had my second dose of botox to lower my left eye lid and it seems to be working! I still have 3 days left until I see the total affect but it has already dropped!

Has anyone else had this done and if so, how were your results and how long did it last???

Please keep us posted. If it is an alternative, I think several of us would be interested. Thanks,

Hello everyone! It has been a couple of weeks since my botox injection (injected under the eyelid) and I can not begin to tell you the difference it has made for me!

My eye lids are now “even” with eachother. After over two years, I look “normal” again! And much like my old self!

I am also noticing a difference in the way my eye feels. There are times when it waters TOO MUCH! Very different from the dry eye I was suffering from before this procedure.

I would HIGHLY recommend trying botox for a contracting eyelid.

My specialist didn’t feel I was in the cold phase yet and wanted to hold off on any type of surgery. Botox was my alternative at this time.

I will go back in three months to have it done again.

I have taken pictures of the before and afters. I wish I could post them on here. It’s amazing!!!!!

Please be careful: excessive watering of the eyes is a symptom of dry eye, ironically enough. Our tears become less thick (for want of a better word) and they get runny. Normal tears STAY in the eyes and do not run out unless we are sad, etc. So, you might still need to put artificial tears in your eyes to protect your corneas.
