Today is around 6 weeks of meds and I am only getting worse. Now to add to my toxic party I probably have the flu or virus. So not only am I dealing with cotton candy head, shortness of breath, memory loss I now am dealing with sweats & chills. Snotty nose and throat, oh the best symptom is now the drop in sugar level and having to get up in the middle of the night to try to resolve it. Let me not forget my sore eyes.
I am mostly in bed. I can’t continue this and I am going to have to force myself to work. I would get myself fired but since I’m the boss that’s hard to do. My house is dirty, laundry stacked, dishes, floors need mopped etc.
Tomorrow I am going to see my gp. Want to check for more diseases.
Good news is I have a special needs child who is being forced to be independent and he is doing great. Secondly I am lucky to live close to the ocean and I took my fuzzy head down to a bench and watched the sunset.
Ann/.
I have to go to bed right now. More tomorrow. You will get lots of responses. ANd have a ton of new friends on this site. My head is cotton candy now too caue I am so so tired.
Good to see GP tomorrow. There are some NASTY summer viruses going around, that is for sure. You may have one;
ShirleyHi Ann.. hope today is better for you…when you see your GP ask him/her to check your labs… if you’ve been on meds for 6 weeks and are feeling no better (maybe worse) maybe your meds need to be adjusted? Having a virus/flu on top of all this is no fun. I too live on the water, near the ocean and it’s very soothing to watch sunsets, listen to the waves and the seagulls. Peaceful…

Hello – Yes, definitely smart to visit the GP to see if there is anything else going on. Also, as Karen suggested, since you are already in the doc’s office, labs would be a good idea to see if it’s possible you need an adjustment in your dosage of meds. Hope you can get some answers!
Hi!
I hope you’re feeling better today, and yes I would ask your dr to check your labs and maybe your meds need adjusting.
Idk much about ATDs cuz I was ever on them, but I just wanted to send your big cyber hug, and tell you that things will get better. It just takes some time.

Gosh I am in love with everyone. Thanks
Went to GP. She DID take labs. I was afraid she might not because she would over ride the endroconologist that she works with. So now I wait for the results.
I went to Carl’s jr and had onion rings. Why do you think they made me feel better? I haven’t had a drop in sugar for probably 2 hours.
HI Anne. Big Hugs. I know exactly how you feel. I have been on Methimazole now for at least a month and I want the medicine to work like yesterday. I find solace in reading the positive posts here as I know you will. Hang in there!!!
