I was diagnosed with Graves 2 years ago and chose the treatment of taking the radioactive iodine. Shortly after that I returned to normal for about 3 months then went on the Levothyroxine and did sort of ok on this but so far they keep having to tweek the dosage like every 6 months or so.. Went back to my doctor on Monday and she put me on Armour Thyroid 60 mg. Today is my first day on it and of course it is way to early to see if it will work but just wanted to know if anyone on this page has taken this drug… I have heard both good and bad about it, the one good one is that u tend to lose a little weight but it does help u not to gain a bunch like I have. So any opinions out there?
