    Hi!

I noticed two pockets/lumps developing under my eyes and found out today that they are xanthalasma (basically pockets of fluid/fat) that are growing under my eyes. I am told that it is a condition generally found in the elderly!!! Just wondering whether anyone has heard of it being related to graves???

    Thanks

In some people, when there is pressure behind the eye (as in TED), the fluid from behind the eye ends up being pushed into the tissues around the eye rather than the eye itself bulging out. An ophthalmologist should be able to measure the pressure behind your eye to see if that’s what’s happening with you.
