      Hello – I was at that presentation, but I haven’t tried the Nasonex personally…hopefully, some others will chime in.

      Yes, the gels are definitely not appropriate for daytime! I think you have to play around with the brands that will work personally for you. (Which is a bummer, since it costs a ridiculous amount of money for a one-ounce sized bottle!) Genteal, Systane, and Refresh are some of the more common brands.

      There is also a prescription drug called Restasis that helps with dryness, but I’ve heard mixed reviews from patients who have used this, as it can take a few weeks to work. It might be worth a discussion with your doctor, though.
