HI, NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU!
I am sorry that you have all this stuff in your life, but at the same time, so grateful for you that you have good people following you, and even better, they will be communicating with each other! To top it off, you are seeing three departments on the same day! Amazing.
Do write to give an update on how things are going for you. Glad your LFT’s are doing in the right direction. Very good news.

    Shirley,
It is pretty amazing to able to see everyone on the same day. The hospital I go to tries their best to do this if possible. My daughter and I go to same hospital so if we can get appts on the same day so much the better. I am doing the lab work for the LFTs next week and hopefully will know something within a few days from the hepatologist. So much bloodwork these days I feel like a pin cushion but I know that I must keep up on the labs. My endo is great and communicates with me withing days of receiving the lab results. I feel pretty comfortable with her!

    Hello,
Just got off the phone with Hepatology nurse about my elevated ALT. I have been up and down with ALT and AST for a few months now and it has been frustrating. I also have a positive ANA. In August I know have appts with Endocrinology, Rheumatology, and Hepatology to see what we can see. Thankfully, they are on the same day. I know that it is not uncommon to have more than one autoimmune disorder. I do have IBS and Fibromyalgia as well carry the antibodies for both Hashi’s and Graves. I went to the Hepatologist last month and she was pretty sure that there isn’t any autoimmune hepatitis going on (my LFT’s were dropping back down and the other labs for it came back negative). My thyroid seems to be doing pretty good. My methimazole does got increased a bit due to still having a low TSH. I just needed someone to share my "troubles" with!! Thanks for listening!
