Weird. I NEVER had any sort of nausea at all after I did the RAI.

Amy’s son has had trouble with nausea throughout (since long before the RAI) ~ it’s been very frustrating for them.

Thanks for checking in, Amy ~ I’m hoping for more improvement in that area for your son! I’m glad things seem to be on the upswing.

    Hi Amy,

I’ve missed you and have been keeping you and your son in my thoughts and prayers. I’m so sorry to hear there’s been no improvement in the nausea yet, but I hope that’s in his future still.

Just a heads-up: In my case at least, it wasn’t long after I started feeling a little better following RAI that I suddenly went very hypo, and my dose of RAI was much smaller than your son’s. So you might be expecting that to occur at any time now.

    Hugs and best wishes,

    Dianne

    Hi,
I thought I would post an update on my son. He’s almost 7 weeks post RAI and is just starting to notice the affects of RAI. Unfortunately, he’s still having a lot of trouble with nausea….it’s so frustrating! I’m still hoping that will get better as he turns "hypo". I thought that by now, he would be well into being hypo but he really isn’t. We’re going to have a blood test done next week to see where he’s at.
For those of you that have sent me PMs, I’m so sorry for not responding. I just saw your messages today b/c I haven’t been on the board for a few weeks. I apologize!!!
    Take care everybody!

    Hi Dianne,
I’ve missed you too! Thanks for the info (as always). I think it would be a good idea to find out what Zack’s levels are at this point just in case he does go head long into being hypo. I’m still hoping the nausea will resolve. I’ll keep you posted.
    Take care!
    Amy
