    I was wondering if it would be okay to have a few drinks during the holidays?

    I’m taking 20 mg of Propanpolol (Inderal) 3 times a day right now since I had the RAI 2 weeks ago.

    If I can’t, I can’t. But just wondering if it was okay?

    As far as I know, that wouldn’t preclude having any alcohol. Enjoy your holidays. <img decoding=” title=”Very Happy” />

    I called the pharmacist and I was told "one glass of wine only."

    You should probably call your pharmacist to be sure, but when I in your position a few months ago (had just had RAI, taking propranolol) I was told that one or two drinks was fine. Happy New Year!

    I checked with my pharmacist today, and he said as long as I don’t take the pills with the alcohol AND over do it, I’ll be fine.

    Apparently Propapolol (sp) and alcohol slow the heart – so it has to be one or the other for tonight. I took some this morning at work at 7am, so he said I’m fine, just as long as I take some tomorrow first thing.
