ALSO, my hubby is a doctor and listened to my heart in his office the other day for awhile and did a few tests and my heart is beating totally normal. BUT, it feels like it fluttering and jumping out of my chest. At least I got some peace of mind:) I guess sometimes it feels worse than it is.
If you’re hyper, it’s still possible to get out-of-control arrhythmias that could be dangerous. If you feel you would like to start exercising, talk with your doctor first, get a physical therapist to evaluate your current condition (you may have lost more muscle mass than you think), and start SLOW. Stretching and walking can be okay, but always get the okay from your doctor first.
thanks SKi. That is a good idea about the physical therapist. I guess I need to be more patient with this process. I was really hoping I would go hypo fast. I also feel like the "dumping" period is lasting a month!
Do you think I could go more hyper on my next 2 week labs. The only improvement was my T4 went from 12.8 to 12.5…is that a sign of hope?..OR just eating a good protein lunch before the blood was drawn??
Hey everyone. I’m 8 weeks post RAI and still HYPER. I got my labs back yesterday and my tsh is lower than the last lab at 0.009 and my T4 is slightly lower at 12.5 (it was 12. last time.
So the saga continues…LOLOLOL
I’m REALLY wanting to go running and get back on an exercise program. My stomach feels MUSHY
Is it okay to run around 2-3 miles day?I do have the heart palpations at night, but I have found if I take .5mg of ativian…it goes away:)
I wish I could say ~ it’d be so much easier if everything followed a consistent pattern with everyone. Pretty sure a protein lunch wouldn’t have affected your labs though. ” title=”Very Happy” /> Always best to be safe, there’s a lot to lose if we move too quickly, so take it easy and know you ARE getting there. Tiny steps right now, but you are definitely getting there!
