I would LOVE that, Jake!! For those who can’t tell by his avatar and posts, Jake is HYSTERICAL ~ he truly knows how to tell a good story, and relate important concepts within the story ~ this would be perfect. My only complaint is that I probably won’t make it to next year’s conference (ooh la la, we’re supposed to be in France), so Jake, you must promise to do it for the next TWO years so I can see you when the conference comes back to the West coast. <img decoding=” title=”Very Happy” />

We are too busy and that is not a bad thing. Back when I was first diagnosed I did not have any energy for almost three years. Now I am a published author, a partner in a publishing house and so busy I am enjoying life again.

I would like to be considered next year as an insperational speaker. I have had my ups and downs but have gone on to have a good life. I think I have a few things I can pass along to help others on their way. I joined ToastMasters a few years back and am moving up through the levels. I think a presentation by me would be most helpful.

I have Graves’ and life is good.

Where is the conference supposed to be next year? That alone could be worth the trip! Will it be centrally located or on the east coast? Maybe FLorida?

The information given at this year’s San Diego conference indicated that they’re looking closely at Boston for next year’s conference. I’m not sure whether the final decision has yet been made.

Since I have joined Toastmasters I have won the Humor speaking contest two years running for my club and have presented at district level. This year’s presentation was "Better Living Through Pharmacuticles, Farmacuticles, pharmecu… Drugs.

I would love to speak to the group and tell them there is life after Graves. Published author, partner in a publishing house, Pow Wow dancer, flute player and maker. And still working as a Civil Service Logistics Test Engineer.

I have Graves’ and life is good.

    Hi Everyone,

The Graves’ Disease Foundation is exploring Boston for the 2011 Patient & Family meeting either end of October or early November.

Please make note if case you’re interested in coming.

The San Diego meeting got great reviews for the attendees.

If you have questions, please send me a note.

    Peter
