Hi all,

Tomorrow I get to have my TSH, free T4, CBC & liver function tests done after being on methimazole for 7 weeks (tomorrow). Hoping for some better numbers. I feel like I might need more than 5 mg., but we’ll see. I have Kaiser, so normally they’re pretty good about getting the results back to me within a week. I asked my endo. about T3 testing, but he said it wasn’t necessary (he did do the T3 testing before I was diagnosed along with the TSI and the immunoglobin test/ antibodies).

Thanks! Any improvement works for me along with a healthy liver and white blood cell count! Of course I want to be 100% better, presto change-o, but I’m trying to remember and learn that patience is important.

I have mine done again on Monday, but I suspect they are going up not down.
