What does he mean he won’t do surgery? Surgery is one of the accepted choices. I had the surgery last summer and I feel great now. I am 43 and my doctors told me they were not sure what the long term affect of RAI would be on a woman my age. The choice was very easy for me.
Maybe you should get a second opinion or find an MD that will truly let you participate in making the choice that is right for you.
