Well, I fired my endo!!!!! I thought about the situation and it was the right thing to do. I just returned from my regular physician’s office and he is now going to manage my GD. He said that because my TSH is low that it IS LIKELY that that is the problem. He also said that he would want to manage it even if I did not have symptoms! He said that the TSH is also the MOST reliable test to know what is going on with the thyroid. And according to my TSH I am hyper. He started me on a low dose of ATD’s and answered ALL of my questions to the best of his knowledge and told me that he considers himself a consultent for my illness. I asked him how he thought my lab work results compared to last months and he said, jokingly, “You don’t need to know that” We had a very good laugh and he said my T3 is on the high end of normal now. thank you everyone for your supportive responses.
