    Hi Kimberly,
I know you are part of a large group of folks who make these decisions, and you cannot make it all happen by yourself!
Any announcements coming soon about dates and times?
I know of the logistics and complex planning required to make these happen.
Up until now, I have been trying to hold off planning other parts of my summer/fall until I get these dates!

I regard the two conferences I attended in the past as highlights of my life. The marvelous speakers, the new friends camaraderie are unsurpassed.

I’ve delayed some plans, waiting to hear of the times and locations. But the year is half over, I am already making plans that reach into 2014, not to mention the rest of 2013! (: These conferences are a priority for me if I can possibly attend.

I am happy to pitch in to help, though my computer skills do not include spread sheets or much more than writing a letter. I imagine others on the forum are happy to contribute, too.

It was a joyous occasion to meet you, and so many of the Graves’/TED people who were able to attend. I understand you plan to have three one day meetings in three different locations in the country. Is that correct?

Thank you, Kimberly, for any information you have!

Hi Shirley – We have a one-day event set in Baltimore for 10/26 and are working *extremely* hard to get two other locations confirmed. Things are still somewhat in flux, but it’s likely that one will be a full day and one a half day.

I agree 100% with your concerns about getting events on the calendar ASAP, but there are a lot of moving parts to getting *one* venue booked, and this year the GDATF is trying to do three! There are a lot of folks involved in getting a venue selected, some of whom are involved with the GDATF, while others are not. All I can say is that we are working as hard as possible to get additional locations confirmed, and when they are, you will hear it here first!

    Thank you,Kimberly,
i presumed all of this, and I understand. Scheduling three sites with three sets of speakers sounds overwhelming to me. The logistics for three sites, speakers, all the other details, is beyond my pale!

I do appreciate the 10/26 Baltimore date knowledge. However, I just yesterday, scheduled a flight to the Midwest which conflicts with that date.

In the optimal world of attendees, it would be nice to know the dates and locations as far in advance as possible, even though the myriad of details that re required are not finalized. ANd as I say this, I absolutely understand that you must have everything in order before you make any announcements.

Hi Shirley – Once we are able to confirm a date and a city, we will definitely let everyone know, even if other details are not yet finalized. There are unfortunately a lot of logistical issues going on that are beyond my control!
