Interesting story — although it doesn’t mention why she was hyperthyroid or what (if any) treatment option she used.

Hyperthyroidism due to thyroiditis is usually temporary and resolves on its own, but hyperthyroidism due to Graves’ disease or overactive nodules does require medical intervention.

    Wishing her continued success!

    Kimberly,
I guess I should have mentioned that the article doesn’t talk about treatment or go into diagnosis. Thanks for mentioning that! I could really relate with her feelings though. Feeling like you will never be yourself again. We all have to keep hoping and persevering!

    Thanks for reading!

I not trying to grind this into the ground with my comment, but I guess any value there is relating to how she felt. But not much value in associating anything about this article with Graves’. Glad she feels better. Wish it were that easy for Graves’ folks!
