Has anyone had any issues with having a bad head cold or sinus infection since having had decompression surgeries?

Or, has anyone who has had decompression or strabismus, or eyelid surgeries ever experience bleeding from thier eye
at anytime after the surgery. I am 1.5 yrs post op and my eye bled (very little mind you, it was just like a cloud over my eye and when i wiped it away as I would a tear, it was bright red) for about two days, and that was it. No other symptoms what so ever.

I think the reason you have not gotten an answer to your question, is because I and others are not sure what you are asking.
So, I’ll tell you what I know, and my experience with the surgeries you mentioned.
    1. If you are referring this meaning you are having these symptoms 18 months later, years later, no, I don’t have them now.
    2. O f course I had a very small amount of slightly blood tinged (pink) tears after the procedures you mentioned. This was mentioned in the written and verbal post pre and post op instructions. Not a complication at all.
    3. After my OD, I did think I had a sinus infection, but I didn’t. 8 months after the OD, I still feel I have a stuffy and sometimes clogged up left nostril. I find anti inflammatory nose drops help, but steroid nose drops do not help at all. there never has been any infection.

I developed Sinusitis after OD and had to have Sinus Surgery. I kept getting nodules/inflammation around my eye area (it was treated with antibiotics), but the wrong kind and found out the infections was resistance to the type being used. Something missed by my Opthamologist but caught by my primary Dr., before she would clear me for eye muscle surgery. Wish I had insistent on an ENT being present during my OD Surgery. This may have made a difference.

I also suffer from a lot of Sinus Headaches. Still have a good deal of eye exposure and protrusion on my Right Eye that may also be a contributing factor.
