Hi everyone, My eye’s do not shut completely at night.
I’ve been using Lacri-Lube but lately it seems I have to glob
it on more and more, otherwise my eye’s are killing me in the
morning. Any suggestions on a more effective product?
    Thanks for any info. Shana

Hi Shana! Are you taping your eyes at night with sensitive first aid tape or covering them with a mask or cotton bandana tied around your head? Doing this really helps keep the eyes more moist at night.

Also, my local optometrist had a generic brand of eye lubricant that was only a fraction of the cost. Over-the-counter stuff is about 3 times as much! Definitely worth checking in to.

    Good luck, Debby

Thanks for the advice Debbie, can you tell me the name of
this generic brand? I guess you have the eye disease also?
    If so was it severe?
    Thanks, Shana.

Hi Shana! I don’t remember the exact name on the label, but I’ll check with my optometrist tomorrow.

Yes, I have the *wonderful* eye complications. After orbital decompression, extraocular muscle surgery, and two lid retractions on both eyes, I’m finally back to so-called normal. FYI – for info on these surgeries go to:

I’ll get back to you about the eye lube.

    Debby
