Wow! – There are really other people out there who put up with this aggravating and frustrating disease. I wish I found this 3 years ago when I was spending a lot of time searching foranswers. From the postings – I guess I have been pretty lucky.A mildly active hyperthyroidism brought back to normal by Tapazole, but severe eye disease. Double vision still plagues me even after a couple of eye muscle surgeries. Earlier problems were helped by a bilateral orbital decompression. After the last eye muscle surgery a year ago December something went awry – so that by February I had given up working. A severe inflammation developed in the eye which was corrected. The problem could not be resolved with steroid injections in the eye, steroid eye drops, and ketaprofen. I started methotrexate in July and by the end of September the inflammation and headache were gone. Over the last 3 years, whenever I had difficult times I could pick myself up and dust myself off, and jump rightback into my employment. Right now though I really don’t know if I still can do this or if I even want to. My eye doctor’s confidence has left him too, so he now states he can not straighten my eyes with surgery.

Thank you for bringing the Support Bulletin Boards back online.
It is wonderful to be able to read it again. The down time has
made me learn to be so much more appreciative of having the BB.
Thank you Archie for fixing it! Thank you to all the people that
are behind the scenes of the BB too!

To all who took time from their busy schedules to wish me Happy Birthday and to send me cyber-cards, I thank you from the bottom of my little ladybug heart!
    I love you all!

    Hugs,
    JAN

p.s Of course, I got ladybugs from my kids! They sewed hair on them so that they looked like themselves(Adrea’s was long and brown and Jason’s was curly, black and had white patches in it! I laughed like crazy! Told them if they had time to think up that one, then they had too much time on their hands! Thought you all could enjoy it. XOXO

That was very kind of you. Although, I guess I didn’t make myself clear. I have MANY symptoms. However most seem to be more Hypo then Hyper. I also had a MRI done in May that showed a Partially Empty Sella. That could mean Pituitary, from my understanding. Again thank you very much……Lynn
