I liked this “thought” a lot, Claudia. It reinforces the “attitude” that I’m trying to keep. I may not be “like I used to” or “normal”, but if I keep focusing on the negatives, I just feel mired in a bog. Focusing on what I can do now, that I couldn’t do six months ago (due to the hyper thyroid) gives me a lot more energy.

Kind of like, “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

    I’m trying!

I encountered this quote while going through a new calendar, and thought I’d share it.

“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable.” Helen Keller

    And you thought I forgot!!!
I still put them out there when I find a good one.

I recon being ill as one of the many great pleasures of life, provided
one is not too ill and is not obligated to work till one is better.

    I really liked this one,

Hi all! Well, Southwestern Minnesota is under near-blizzard conditions once again. As I sit and feel sorry for myself, I’m reminded of a quote that sums it all up – winter, GD, life:

I had no shoes and complained until I met a man who had no feet.
