The MD didn’t want to take me off the meds because I have been
severly ill for the last 6 weeks, (just diagnosed). I finally am getting
out of bed and he didn’t feel the test was worth getting me ill all over
again. I wonder if I would get as sick as I was before, or would
the syptoms be mild. My T3 was near 600 and T4 was 20.
He told me that the thyroid uptake was to determine thyroiditis from
Graves disease. I want to know. I see the endo next week and I’ll
see what he has to say. Catherine
