    Bruce,
    You mentioned that you seem to be “very jumpy in regard to loud noises”..
    I’m the same way!! I was blaming it on my nerves though; what do you
    think is the cause of our ‘sensitivity?’
    Anyone else have this problem?

    i jump 20 feet in the air if something startles me.
    i cant hear a vacuum cleaner anymore because it hurts my ears.
    i have a problem with loud things, but i like things that are loud.
    i know my ears are more sensitive than it used to be. i can hear whispers over crowded rooms.
    sometimes cool….sometimes not.
