    Kaci,
I’m 15 and I have the same problems in math class but I’m lucky enough to have a teacher that knows when I’m zoned out and ‘taps’ me on the head to get me back on track. I also have an excellent math tutor after school. To help during a test and while reading I find that stopping after each problem or after every couple of paragraphs and taking a 30 second to one minute break helps me to re-focus on the task at hand. I hope I have been of some help.

My daughter has learning problems in school – can’t seem to remember
any complex math problems – no multiplication or division. She has
a hard time concentrating on reading. Does anyone else have the same
type of problems? Also her face turns bright red and hot every night,
she doesn’t have a fever. Is this a common symptom? Thanks for anyone’s
    help. Kaci
