Shannon I hate to use this word but some doctors even those in
the mental healt profession are morons when it comes to
linking GD with depression, kinda sad isn’t it.

    Morning everyone !

I forgot to mention that during my doctors visit she asked if I would
like to speak to a mental health professional, seems I sounded alittle
depressed to her. Well lack of sleep and my thyroid levels not being
in the normal range will do that to a person !
I told her this and she said that my thyroid was not the cause of my
feeling down ( down is kind of an understatement ) yes lack of sleep
will eventually wear you down, duh !
Well I get my blood test results back on monday or tuesday. I’m praying
that my levels will finally be in the normal range, even if it’s just
for a couple of months :)
I just wish that the medical professionals would wise up and take a look
at how thyroid disease really can and does affect a person mentally and
    emotionally.
Maybe one day opinions will change both in the medical profession and
the people around us who are so uninformed about GD.

    All the best,

    Shannon.
