    Boy, would I like to know if this possible because I’ve felt that I have had both types of symptoms at one time or another for quite a while before diagnosis. My GP says not possible but I would love to hear from others on this too.

    I have been diagnosed with both an under and over active thyroid as anyone else been diagnosed with this condition?
    My doctor says it is rare. Anybody else have this condition? Tell me about
    your medication and symptons. please. I would really like to talk to someone with this condition.

    I too would love to know, because I have really have none of the hyper symptoms I used to have. All the symptoms I have now are symptoms of being hypo. Still, my doc says my blood tests indicate I am still hyper…

    Hi, Robin

    im going through the same thing right now they say im hyper again
    but i dont feel hyper like the first time,pulse is stable and not racing
    the only signs are that im eating like a horse,email me if you want.
    I feel more hypo than hyper and dont know if i am going for rai again or
    not.

    Dawn, if there’s no one out there who is going to say that I am giving out FALSE information, yes.. I have had an under/overactive thyroid for years.. well, actually my whole life!
    It’s been like a yo yo effect. First I would appear to be fat and lazy, then in a while I would look like any normal human being.

    My father’s genes made me this way. My mother’s family has a rare disorder that I have mentioned a lot.
