      I had RAI June 18th ’96. I was on Atenalol for 2 weeks before and stayed on it(25mg 2x a day)till Sept.25th. I had no side effects from the RAI. I started to put on weight in a month.I had lost 25 pounds.In sept. I started on Synthroid. Sorry if I shouldn’t mention these drugs. I forget if that’s a no-no or not.Best of luck to you .         Thanks, Lauren. It was quite a morale boost to read your kind words — especially since I just had two teeth pulled and was feeling just a tad bit sorry for myself!!
