    Dee,

I’m so sorry to hear about what has happened to you today!!! I know it’s
very hard to see right now, but things really do happen for a reason, hopefully
something good will come from this. Good luck with your fight to keep your job.
I’ll say a prayer that everything works out the best for you.

    Keep your chin up.

As you can tell by my earlier posts, I was having a very good day.
But with the turn of events, things can happen from moment to moment.
After 10 successful years of government service I was given notice day
that I will not have a job after December 31. Needless to say the decision were based
on seniority and section. I know for a fact i have the most seniority in my entire section.
I voiced this issue with my boss and he did not say anything. Also I voiced the fact is this because
of my absenteeism from 4 eye surgeries within the last year and numerous
hospital stays and doctor appointments. His reply was, “Oh no, it is not that.”
Keeping composed, i thanked him and left his office. Needless to say,
they will not hear the end of this. It’s a battle in itself to
fight for your eyesight and keep up you work performance. Then with no explanation from your boss be told
you are being let go. I have an impecable record and the past fou
between the tears. I have to drop some stuff off at the Union office
and will speak to them about a grievance…I’ll let you now about the turn of events..

    Dee
