Dear George
I read your post and it sounded spookily similar to what I experienced
when diagnosed nearly 9 years ago. Really thought I was losing my
mind with panic attacks, crying fits, moodiness etc. The mistake I made
was avoiding family and friends, as I was ashamed/scared/confused of what
was happening. Even though you may not “feel like yourself”, it is so
important to have support from those around you and not to cut yourself
off. I know you feel lousy but it sounds like you are doing the right
things (if only your hormones realised that!)
Hang in there – the rollercoster ride does improve.
