Ditto on all the panic responses. Never had an attack before Graves, now I have them often. They are somewhat controlled by a mild anti-depressant. However, I still startle very easily and it takes quite a while to recover from being startled—especially if I am asleep and the phone rings, etc. I also flush very easily now, and never did before.

It is a comfort to hear that I am not alone and interesting that the attacks seem to happen to men as well as women. I guess that rules out female hormones as the cause.

    My best to you all,

    Valerie L.
