    I was twice a day.

I now am 5 mg once a day, down from 40 mg — 20 in the AM and 20 in the pm.

After months of trying to get my doc to increase my meds, she did it. I’m now on 15mg of Methimazole. I see her in a couple weeks then we can see if she still gets to be my doc <img decoding=” title=”Wink” /> Question, what’s the best way to take the methimazole, in three doses or one a day?

That’s one of those doctor questions. I have heard of both – single dosing and spaced dosing. You could call the office and ask the nurse. Sometimes it doesn’t even help us to be nurses, does it?

Yeah I have heard of split dosing – which I done when I was in the blocking treatment whereas now I am being told to take my thyroxine before my breakfast in the morning….

Ask you GP / endo they will tell you whats best!

    Good luck xxx
