I’m still having bouts of insomnia and since "heat season" began, I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night, accompanied by feeling real warm or sweating a lot.

It’s been relatively warm here the last few days; the heat’s been shut off and I’m still waking up in the middle of the night; same thing: warm or sweating a lot. Bleh. It’s driving me nuts.

My levels are normal. Wonder what gives?

How long since you’re levels were normal? And are you on replacement? Sounds like maybe you’re dose might be a lil too high? Or else the dreaded "M"? I have felt the same way, the past few nights have been warmer here, too. I went from freezing when I was hypo to being warm again now. It could even just be "normal" again and we are so used to being cold that now it feels weird? Except I feel hyper, so in my case I think I am on too much Levo or my thyroid is going wacked again.

The last time my levels were run was mid-September. I’m on a methimazole dose of 5 mg/day.

The endo I was seeing doesn’t want me to come back until mid-December. (I’ve got another new endo appt lined up for tomorrow; let’s see what happens there — he will probably ask for another level as reassurance for himself, I think)
