    Hi,

I had sore feet and hands when I was on the blocking tratment and since I started back on thyroxine post op my feet and hands are in agony. Infact I can only wear flat soled shoes. I also had a lot of swelling afew years back (have it on and off now) so much so that I couldn’t get certain shoes on including trainers (sneakers). Def mention it to your endo.
it is most likely a flare up of your RA too.

Hope you start to feel better soonxxx

I was just diagnosed with GD, had my thyroid scan/uptake last week and am waiting for the doctor’s call as to what the next step will be. The tops of my feet appear puffy and my feet are extremely sore. I also have arthritis, a condition I’ve had since before I was 18. I’m now 64. I’m sure the thyroid is causing the arthritis to flare up. I can’t take medication for arthritis because of other issues. Is the puffy, sore feet a normal symptom of Graves Disease? I know I have a little eye involvement because my eyes are dry, feel gritty and at times somewhat blurry! I’m just anxious to get some relief. I hope some one can help answer my questions.
