A little birdy reminded me how encouraging I can be…. I thought I would give you the latest news about my TSH level.

Currently as most of you know I have been in remission about 3 years now with out any medicine at all. I am careful with getting sick and always wash hands and have others do the same thing.

I have my TSH level checked and it is 1.74 well within the normal range. I usually tend to be on the low end and feel a bit lousy but still within limits so I don’t take anything but this level I know works for me and I feel great… Naturally the kidney stone makes me feel icky but if it wasn’t for that I’d be jumping up and down !!!

Take your meds, talk to your dr., wash your hands, drink water, eat right, exercise when dr says it’s ok, know your limits and reach for a goal !! GO FOR IT!!!

Thanks for posting mamabear. It’s always great when people come back and relay positive outcomes. I think your lifestyle choices are fabulous, not necessarily a cure, but certainly an integral part of your overall good health which can possibly contribute to your remission. Good to hear that you are doing so well! Good luck with the kidney stone as well.

Thank you! Yep I know there is no cure, I’m ok with that. There was a time when i wasn’t ok with it but I really am, I know if I go out of remission again that i will have to choose ptu/tap or other options. I’ll be ready for it though!!
