    Hi friends,

Sorry for not being in touch for some time. It has been hectic with looking after the kids and being pregnant. However, I have the wonderful news to share with you that I had another little boy last Wednesday! Well when I say little he was 10lb 13oz so a little, big, boy!

We are both very well. He went for his TFT test today so we are just praying we have the all clear tomorrow.

As for me I have dropped from 250mcg to 100mcg of thyroxine (the day after the birth) so I am hoping this will keep everything on track or at least it is easier for them to fiddle with to get my bloods stable. I cannot believe how well I feel after this baby. I truly think it is mostly down to the removal of my thyroid. I feel calmer and physically so much more stable and able. I don’t want to fly in God’s face or be complacent but so far so good. There is still the fear and memory of the thyroid storm 2 years ago after my 2 year olds birth and that did haunt me until I gave birth to be honest. I was also expecting to feel awful like I did then and with my first son after the birth.

I do think of you often, Kimberly, Run Lacie, Ski, Bobbi, ewbm, mamabear and George and so many more. The rest of you I am in touch with on FB and I can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support and prayers.

I hope everyone is well and I do promise to try and visit here at least once or twice a month when my kids allow me the time

    Xxxx

I am so happy for you! As I reflect on my three 5.5, 6, and 6.5 lb. babies, I truly cannot imagine pushing out a 10+ pounder! Maybe that means he will sleep longer periods of time even as a newborn?
So glad all is well, that you feel so good. I was toxic after my first baby, a crazy person until I had my thyroidectomy.
I wish you the best! Those first few months are very sleep-depriving, plus the other kids.
    Thanks so much for writing!

Hooray! Hope that you really do get more settled now. That’s terrific news about the new baby. I too am on 100mcg most of the time , 50mcg once a week and I’m feeling whole lot more like myself these days too.

Congratulations on the new baby, hyperm!!! I haven’t checked in here in a while, but happened to drop by today and see this news… how wonderful! I’m glad you are feeling so good and hope you and the new little one are both doing well. I think of you all often. I’m okay. Still somewhat up and down, on daily alternating 75/88 mcg. Take care and stay in touch.
